This page brings together everything you should know before working with us – how we handle your privacy and data, how appointments, payments and refunds work, what our services can and cannot do, and the terms that govern our work together. Please read it carefully; using this website or booking a session means you accept these policies.
CINQ.IN (“CINQ IN”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates this website and provides mental-health services – psychological therapy, counselling, psychiatric consultation and related programmes – from Baner, Pune, and online. These policies apply to all visitors, clients and users of our digital platforms, and to all of CINQ IN’s sister ventures.
By booking an appointment, signing a registration form, or using this website you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these policies. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use the website or services.
In a crisis or emergency, do not use this website. Please call 112 (Emergency Response Support System, India), contact your nearest hospital, or reach a suicide-prevention helpline immediately. CINQ.IN does not provide crisis counselling or emergency services.
Providing personal information to complete a transaction, verify payment or schedule an appointment constitutes consent to use that information for those specific purposes. For secondary uses such as marketing updates, we seek explicit consent, and every message includes a clear opt-out.
You may access, correct, update or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent at any time by writing to info@cinq.in. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. We may retain clinical records for the period required by professional record-keeping norms and law, even after consent withdrawal.
Payments are processed securely through Razorpay, which adheres to PCI-DSS standards. Your card details are encrypted and handled by Razorpay, not stored by us. See Razorpay’s own terms and privacy policy at razorpay.com.
Third-party providers collect, use and disclose your information only as necessary to perform their services and may have their own privacy policies. If you transact with them, your data may fall under their jurisdictions. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites – please review their statements when you leave our site.
We apply industry-standard measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, misuse or destruction. However, no transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our website uses essential cookies to maintain sessions and improve browsing. These do not personally identify you across other websites.
Users confirm they are of legal age, or that a parent/guardian has consented on behalf of a minor. Services for minors are provided only with guardian consent, as required by law and professional ethics.
Where a patient requests a fee concession or supported fee, CINQ.IN may collect limited information reasonably necessary to assess and administer the request. This may include current and recent income range, employment or student status, financial dependency or support, major unavoidable expenses, recent financial changes and the effect of the applicable therapy fee on the patient’s ability to start or continue treatment.
This information is used for assessing, approving, administering and periodically reviewing the fee-concession arrangement. It may be accessed by authorised clinical, administrative or management personnel who need the information for these purposes and may be shared where required or permitted by applicable law.
CINQ.IN will generally seek information proportionate to the concession requested. Routine requests for bank statements, salary slips, tax returns or other detailed financial records will not be required from every patient. Additional supporting information may be requested where reasonably necessary to assess a material or extended concession, or where the information provided is materially inconsistent or insufficient to make a fair decision.
Fee-concession financial information is distinct from information required for providing psychological care, except where the information is also clinically relevant. Patients may decline to provide optional supporting financial information; however, where sufficient information is not available to assess the request, CINQ.IN may be unable to approve the concession or may offer a different fee or service arrangement.
If CINQ.IN undergoes an acquisition or merger, your information may be transferred to the successor entity for continued service delivery.
CINQ.IN reserves the right to amend, supplement, replace or withdraw these policies, in whole or in part, at any time and at its sole discretion, with or without retrospective effect to the extent permitted by applicable law. Changes take effect when posted here, or from such later date as may be specified in the amended policy. Material changes will be highlighted. Your continued use of the website and services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the amended policies. Where a change affects an active package, concession or booking already made, the version in force at the time of that booking will govern that arrangement unless a change is required by law or is applied prospectively as communicated.
By availing of our services, you consent to the use of de-identified data for research, audit and educational purposes. All identifying details – including your name and contact information – are completely removed before any such use.
We may use artificial-intelligence tools to support administrative tasks, analyse anonymised patterns, or improve our digital resources. Any AI processing of client data is limited to anonymised, non-identifiable information. Identifiable clinical data is never fed into public AI systems. AI output is never a substitute for professional judgment and is always reviewed by our team.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.
Everything you share in therapy is treated as confidential. Confidentiality may be broken only in exceptional circumstances, which include:
Clients are encouraged to report such incidents to the appropriate authorities themselves. Where a client or relative fails to act on a serious risk, CINQ.IN reserves the right to report the matter at its own discretion, in line with ethical and legal guidelines.
Multi-session packages are strictly time-bound to encourage consistency in the therapeutic process. Validity is counted in calendar days from the date of purchase; unused sessions lapse automatically after expiry. Some treatments and group sessions are available only as packages – if these are not used within the validity period or treatment is discontinued, standard package rules apply and no refunds are issued for remaining sessions.
| Package type | Validity period |
|---|---|
| 3-session package | 25 calendar days |
| 5-session package | 45 calendar days |
By accessing the website or services you confirm you are of legal age or have guardian consent, and will not use them for unlawful purposes. Breaches may result in immediate termination.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason. Reproduction or unauthorised use of any content or service requires prior written consent.
Website content is provided for general information and may not always be complete or current. You are responsible for verifying details before acting on them.
CINQ.IN retains the right to terminate treatment, offer an alternative therapist or professional, modify timings or change charges at its discretion, without prior notice. The clinic is not bound by specific scheduling demands of clients.
We are not responsible for outages, delays or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (severe weather, internet or power failures, or other unforeseen disruptions).
Third-party tools and links are provided “as is”, without monitoring, control or endorsement. Linking to external websites is not an endorsement of any third-party product or service, and users are responsible for knowing which organisation hosts the sites they visit.
By submitting feedback, reviews or other content you grant us a licence to use it. Submissions must not violate third-party rights or contain harmful material; we may remove inappropriate content at our discretion.
We may correct errors or omissions on the site without prior notice.
Fee concessions and supported fees are discretionary arrangements offered by CINQ.IN in limited circumstances and subject to availability. A fee concession is not an entitlement and does not permanently alter CINQ.IN’s standard fees.
Any fee concession is valid only when the applicable reduced fee, duration and approving authority have been confirmed through CINQ.IN’s designated process. Individual therapists, counsellors, associates, trainees, interns or administrative staff may not independently promise, approve, extend or guarantee a fee concession unless specifically authorised to do so under CINQ.IN’s internal approval process.
Statements made informally by a clinician or staff member about a possible discount, free session, future concession or continuation of a concession should not be treated as confirmation of an approved fee change unless the fee has been formally confirmed by CINQ.IN through the designated process. Where a staff member is not authorised to approve a concession, the staff member may only record or forward the patient’s request for consideration.
Approval of a fee concession does not alter the nature, scope, duration or standard of the psychological service. CINQ.IN may recommend a change of clinician, treatment format, frequency, level of care or referral to another provider where clinically or operationally appropriate.
CINQ.IN may review, modify or discontinue a concession when the approved period ends, when the circumstances supporting the concession materially change, when the arrangement is no longer clinically or operationally suitable, or when concession capacity is no longer available. Any revised fee will apply prospectively from the date communicated by CINQ.IN.
Educational purposes only. All content on this website, blog and social channels is for general information and education. It is not a substitute for professional psychological, psychiatric or medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
Our professionals and staff provide care in good faith. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CINQ.IN – together with its directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, service providers and licensors – shall not be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special or consequential damages of any kind (including lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data or replacement costs), whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise, arising from your use of the service, website or any content, or from clients or relatives acting against professional advice, or from client negligence – even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, except as required by law.
